Hi! Welcome to Divine Loaf, a Sourdough Micro-Bakery based out of Sterling, Michigan. Divine Loaf falls under Michigan Cottage Food Law, allowing us to bake out of our home kitchen.

Divine loaf was started out of a passion project to make the perfect loaf of sourdough bread after a weekend workshop at my sister in laws house. From this, I turned my passion into a business and began doing weekly farmers markets in Bay City and Standish.

Over the course of the past year since starting this journey, our menu has exploded with different items and flavors, we have started teaching a “Sourdough Essentials Workshop” with local community partners, as well launching our first website and online store due to a recent update to the Michigan Cottage Food Law.

Divine Loaf is a proudly Women Owned Michigan Small Business, owned and operated by Megan McCarthy. Megan has been involved in customer and food service for over 10 years, serving more recently as a Culinary Operations Manager. She has excellent attention to detail and ensures that every baked good delivered to a customer is of the highest quality.
